The L range of Hot Wire Strip Heaters has been developed to provide an accurate and quickly adjustable heating system for materials up to 8mm (5/16”) in thickness. The machine is available in three working lengths, 1000mm (40”), 1500mm (60”) and 2000mm (80”). The standard machine comes with a single heater beam and power pack. Up to three additional heater beams can be added as required, along with the associated low voltage Power Packs.

Each Heater Beam incorporates 2 individually tensioned, low voltage resistance heating wires. Heating wires are fully adjustable for spacing and height, enabling materials from 1-8mm (0.040”-0.312”) to be heated. For thinner materials a contact heating beam is available, while for close-centre bends narrow, single wire heater beams can be supplied.

An integrated digital timer with audible alarm is fitted to allow the operator to accurately time the heating process. Once the audible alarm has sounded, the material can be removed and folded.

The fully adjustable workstop can be positioned either in front of or behind the heater beams to suit operator preference. Beam positions are also fully adjustable, with calibration strips at either end of the machine allowing quick and accurate setting. Clip-on slats support any unsupported lengths of material, preventing sagging between heated regions.
