Dip Coating

A metal component is heated in an oven. After heating, it is removed and dipped into a bath of powder, which has been fluidised using high volume, low pressure air. The powder melts onto the hot metal, which is then removed from the powder. The heat in the metal allows the powder to flow to form a smooth coating. The coating hardens as it cools, giving a hard-wearing coated surface.

Blower Unit 120, provides high volume low pressure air flow for fluidised baths
